Strawberry Park Homestead

Set in Steamboat Springs’ Strawberry Park, this 5,700-square-foot custom home was designed as a modern interpretation of a historic mountain homestead. The home is composed of three distinct architectural forms - a small cabin, an early-1900s-inspired farmhouse, and a barn - each with its own scale, proportions, and character.

JSM Builders brought the design to life through detailed craftsmanship and careful execution, allowing each structure to maintain its individual identity while creating a cohesive home. Traditional materials, simple detailing, varied rooflines, and thoughtfully scaled spaces give the property an established, collected feel, while the interiors and larger gathering spaces provide the functionality expected of a modern family home.

The result is a home that feels connected to the history and character of its Strawberry Park setting while offering a distinctly contemporary take on the traditional homestead.
